The crescent moon of the Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Masjid, otherwise known as the Golden Mosque situated in Cotabato City, aligned perfectly with the morning sun as it shine in full force. The wind coming from nearby Timako Hill and Tamontaka River brings forth a cleansing feeling. I could imagine hearing the chants of prayers of our Muslim brothers and sisters every day of assembly. As the birds flew around the towering minarets, one could sense a free flowing spirituality also gracing the vast spaces of the mosque.
