One of the many waterfalls found in Iligan, Lanao del Norte is the Mimbalot Falls, a mere after-thought in a place where the mighty Ma. Cristina Falls and Tinago Falls resides. Here, the water flows in a pace so rushed and energetic, only to be slowed down by the man-made structures, which were stupidly erected by non-thinking individuals. How I wish they left Mimbalot alone, in the company of the steady rocks, crawling vines, towering trees and the now and unfortunately, unsteady grounds.
