I experienced my very first Ati-Atihan festival early this year. It was such a blast that even though my ear drums was almost blasted by the fiery drumming, it was such a delight to feel the mardi gras-like atmosphere as among the large crowd who gathered in Kalibo, Aklan. These kids, with their creative tribe costumes, chains around their necks paraded with their game faces on, it projects an image that best represent the festival.
