This unearthly river blooming with striking blue colored water and an unimaginable depth, lies solidly, enchanting in Barangay Talisay in Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur. At first glance one would expect fairies and other-worldly creatures from a Terry Pratchett novel to appear because the place is viscerally unreal. I rubbed off my eyes a few times just to make sure its real. People swim here in hordes though, and who wouldn't be, its something unlike any other swim you will ever make.
